Jacki Donhou taught herself to crochet as a hobby to pass the time alongside bringing up her three children, and she has been designing amigurumi and plush patterns ever since. In my opinion:
Crocheted Mythical Creatures includes the most impressive characters I've ever seen. There are 15 different ones and I'm sure you will find one or more of your favorites. My favorites were the Cherry Blossom Dryad and Unicorn. This book is definitely overwhelming and over my head since I'm more of a knitter. But I'm sure if you are an experienced crocheter (is that what they are called?) you could tackle these projects with ease. It is detailed and has a variety of step-by-step photos to help you along the way. I am beyond words for Jacki's expertise.
