"SPRING INTO SCIENCE”DVDS
Dino Dan: Swimming with Dinosaurs!
(SRP $9.99)
Dino Dan fans, it’s time to join Trek and learn about some of the coolest dinosaurs yet! Dive into dino adventures in the water on the new DVD Swimming with Dinosaurs!
In my opinion:
My son really liked Dino Dan which wasn't exactly my favorite of
the four DVDs that I watched. But, it wasn't about me watching
them. It was all about my son because children are the ones that
can tell us if they enjoyed it or not. However, after thinking about
what I learned, I wasn't ready to make this one of my least favorite
DVDs.
Junior dinosaur expert Trek Henderson has a great
imagination. He taught us about dinosaurs such as the
Plesiosaurus, Archelon and Deinoslichlis. There were eight
episodes included so plenty of dino adventures to see. I do
recommend this DVD since I could see how much my son loved it.
It was educational, entertaining and neat to learn about giant
prehistoric marine reptiles.

· 26 mini-episodes (never-before-seen)
· Bonus episode: Get Up and Move!
In my opinion:
The Sid the Science Kid: Encyclopedia of Discovery included 26 episodes which actually were quite entertaining. I love that the entire show is located in a school setting. It definitely is perfect for Preschool and Kindergarten aged children. They learn about math, exploration, science, astronomy and time from Teacher Susie. It made school look fun so I'm grateful for this DVD to help prepare my son for Kindergarten. It was also filled with exciting topics such as the difference between primary and secondary colors. I definitely recommend this DVD for your young children to learn and discover.

· Season 1, Volume 2
In my opinion:
I'm actually a huge fan of The Cat in the Hat so it was fun to watch the Season 1, Volume 2 DVD. There were so many episodes. We obviously had to watch it over a few days but I never got tired of listening to Martin Short's voice of the Cat in the Hat. He even had a lovely singing voice.
I loved the adventures and discoveries. I loved that my son was learning about bats, penguins, hibernation (the song has now stuck in my head), cows and other animals. Again, this was another educational children's DVD so I appreciated NCircle entertainment and definitely recommend their variety of kid shows. I obviously have my favorites but overall, I am impressed with what I've seen. I feel that some kid shows aren't as educational and appropriate but I've never come across one from NCircle entertainment that hasn't educated my son.
