Well, I have three exciting new ebooks by Norah Gaughan, Margery Winter &
the Berroco Design Team. These are perfect for both knitters and
crocheters alike, and the stunning full-color photos on each page will
make you want to create practically everything in these ebooks. Comfort Knitting & Crochet: Babies & Toddlers, Comfort Knitting & Crochet: Afghans, and Comfort Crochet Afghans (a 3-pattern sampler of the previous title) have never been available in digital format until now.
I received these three ebooks through NetGalley which actually is a brilliant website dedicated to book bloggers.
Let's begin with...
Comfort Knitting & Crochet: Babies & Toddlers
by Norah Gaughan, Margery Winter & the Berroco Design Team
About:
Nary a knitter or crocheter can resist making soft, snuggly things for babies. In Comfort Knitting & Crochet: Babies & Toddlers,
the Berroco design team (led by superstar design director Norah
Gaughan) cover all of the cozy bases, presenting blankets, sweaters,
bonnets, and plush toys. Like the first book in the Comfort series—Comfort Knitting & Crochet: Afghans—this
one features 50 knit and crochet projects using the company’s
bestselling, affordably priced Comfort and Vintage yarns. With project
styles ranging from traditional pastels and Aran knits to midcentury
modern color-blocking, and challenge levels ranging from beginner to
advanced, there’s something for every knitter and crocheter—and every
baby they love—in this beautiful collection.

Comfort Crocheted Afghans
by Norah Gaughan, Margery Winter &
the Berroco Design Team
About:
For many of us, afghans are the epitome of comfort. Colorful and inviting, they are a staple of the home, without which a living room or bedroom just wouldn’t feel complete. And whether you’re making one for yourself, as a housewarming gift, or to welcome a new baby into the world, the process of creating a handmade afghan can be as rewarding as the finished product. This sampler from Comfort Knitting & Crochet: Afghans is intended for crocheters of every skill level, and brings new life to the well-loved and versatile afghan.
In Emilee's opinion:
This was a sampler of the book so I didn't get to see the entire publication. However, I got to see three projects. I really liked the Serpentine project. It reminded me of a guest room in a beach house. I liked the texture of the ruffles. If I learned how to crochet, I would definitely learn how to make this afghan. It was thought out and had pretty details.

Again, this book was a sampler. I got a taste of a few projects to get excited. However, the full book includes 50 affordable designs that feature Berroco's comfort yarn.
I was most excited about the Retro afghan. I liked the back in time design and you could do any color to match a family room or sitting area. It also included a chart which seemed very helpful.
Overall, the sampler got me excited to see all of the other projects. I was also impressed with the layout of the book. Organized and well written.
