At first, I was confused by the title. I thought, why is a book telling me that "Marriage isn't for me." However, after reading it, I understood and loved the concept. Basically, marriage isn't for us, but is for the one we want to share our life with. I wish I received that advice when I first got married. But, I'm excited that I learned it today! I've been married for almost ten years now and there have been many ups and downs. I loved the advice that Seth's father gave him. Let us remember his advice! My favorite quote in the book was, "A true marriage (with true love) is never about you. It's about the person you love-that person's wants, needs, hopes and dreams." Wow! It really isn't about us. We need to become selfless to focus on our spouse. It is no wonder that this book was read by 30 million people worldwide. Let us pass this along so there will be more peace in our marriages.
