About:

From celebrated author Janette Oke (The Love Comes Softly series) comes a rigorous and romantic adventure as epic as the wide frontier. Erin Krakow (Army Wives), Daniel Lissing (Eye Candy), Jack Wagner (Melrose Place) and Lori Loughlin (Full House, 90210) star in When Calls The Heart!

An air of discord settles over Hope Valley when Jack’s spirited mother, Charlotte, pays an unexpected visit… and stays with Elizabeth. While Charlotte “helpfully”, critiques Elizabeth’s skills as a housekeeper, pie-maker and teacher, Rosemary has become a bit of a taskmaster herself for those helping with her imminent wedding to Lee. Meanwhile Gowen comes under suspicion for “irregularities”, in the bank’s bookkeeping, and as he and Nora prepare to leave town, Bill and Jack must contend with a violent storm, rising flood waters and the collapse of the Silverton mine!

In Emilee’s opinion:

When Calls the Heart TV series is romantic and adventurous. It was inspired by the novel When Calls the Heart by Janette Oke which I haven’t read yet. In Season 3, Episode 7 Hearts in question, Elizabeth met Jack’s mother Charlotte who was played by Brooke Shields. As most of us know, it can be a challenge meeting the parents of a future spouse. When Elizabeth met Charlotte she tried her hardest to please her but it was never enough. I felt bad for Elizabeth, however, she could learn from Charlotte and become better. So, I guess however you look at it, it could turn around and become a positive situation.

One of my favorite characters in When Calls the Heart is Rosemary. In this episode, she prepares for her wedding to Lee. Her character is strong, determined and assertive. She knows what she wants and will stop at nothing to get it. However, she has a sweet side and does think of others at times. Another couple that has my heart is Abigail and Pastor Frank. They seem to be in sync and their relationship continues to grow. I only want the best for Abigail as she has gone through a lot.

An accident occurs when Henry and Nora leave Hope Valley so we shall see what happens to them.

Overall, this episode always touches my heart. It has a lot of community teamwork, sacrifice and love for one another. It always makes me want to live in a supportive community just as Hope Valley appears. I definitely recommend this TV series. It is heart warming and family oriented. I love it!
