In my opinion:

I feel that all knitters should have this book-The Knitter’s Book of Knowledge by Debbie Bliss. She has compiled a ton of information about knitting so your unanswered questions will be answered. It is pretty much the best book out there and I’ve reviewed a ton of knitting books. It is also priced right for all of the information that is included. There is information about yarn, needles, and other things, first steps, understanding knitting, shaping, knitting in the round, knitting texture, color knitting, embellished knitting, finishing, designing knits and troubleshooting. I’m pretty sure she didn’t leave anything out. It was designed beautifully from front to back.

I went immediately to the index and had questions about cable knitting. I would love to create a Christmas stocking with cables. Of course, there were a few pages on cables, crosses and twists so I was quite pleased. There were pictures too so that definitely helped me out. Overall, I highly recommend The Knitter’s Book of Knowledge. It is full of surprises and you will be impressed with the step by step instructions on a variety of methods.

Disclaimer: I received one or more of the products or services for free in the hope that I would mention them on my blog. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
