During October general conference, paint a tree on an old window or cut out a tree with construction paper and place on poster board. Or print the fifteen apostle leaves included. As each apostle speaks, have children glue or tape the leaves on the tree. Another idea is to write what you are thankful for on paper leaves. Then the kids hang the leaves on the tree. At the end of the month, take off all the leaves and discuss the many things you are thankful for. It’s fun to see what the kids come up with, and it’s a great reminder of gratitude.
