A Date with Danger by Kari Iroz

Date_with_DangerAbout:

She just wanted to shake up her love life. Jacklyn (Jack) Wyatt is the typical twenty-five-year-old living the typical Provo single life with the typical bad luck— at least until the FBI recruits her for a completely different type of dating.

A young woman has gone missing, and all signs point to her online dating profile as the kidnapper’s operating ground. But when suspects who crossed paths with the missing girl begin contacting Jack, the FBI sees its opportunity for an inside man—er, woman.

Now Jack will have to play the field, dating each of the men in an attempt to weed out the kidnapper. But with such an unusual array of characters vying for her attention, pinpointing the culprit may prove even harder than finding Mr. Right. And as more young women disappear, will Jack stay professional and objective, even with the handsome Special Agent Damon Wade just a whisper in her hidden microphone away?

In Tiffany’s opinion:

I reviewed “A Date With Danger,” by Kari Iroz. This was a fun read; one that I stayed up late because I couldn’t put down but then was disappointed in the morning that I had already finished!

Here’s the synopsis: Jacklyn (Jack) Wyatt is the typical twenty-five-year-old living the typical Provo single life with the typical bad luck— at least until the FBI recruits her for a completely different type of dating.

This is a mystery and romance novel all in one. I enjoyed the author’s sense of humor as the character goes through several awkward blind dates. Here’s an excerpt from one of her dates:

“Tommy leans down, moving in toward my mouth, and I turn my head. He chuckles, kisses my cheek, and struts away. Once he’s out of sight, I give a full body shudder. After a moment Damon ambles over, books under his arm. “You all right?” he asks. “Sure. Once I get a chemical body peel.” “Yeah, he was a bit of a creep.” “He is king of creeps. The other creeps take seminars from him.” I push my tray away and notice Tommy has left his for me to deal with too. Nice. “Do you think he had anything to do with…?”

Meanwhile, Jack begins getting to know the Special Agent working with her on the case. One whom she never imagines having any sort of relationship with.

This is an entertaining and exciting book to read. You will love it!
